I have been practicing orthodontics in the Sacramento area since 1989. I consider being an orthodontist the best job in the world. I love helping people not just have better smiles but to have better lives. I love helping people have beautiful smiles and increase their self-esteem. As a parent, I often ask myself how I would treat this case if the patient was my own son or daughter. My entire staff and I have the same goal in mind: to provide excellent care to each and every one of our patients.

Education

My undergraduate education was received at Brigham Young University, where I attended on an academic scholarship. I continued on to the University of California San Francisco where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. My Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics were received at the University of Oklahoma.

I attend many more continuing education classes than required by the state. We are always learning to successfully use the latest technology, including Invisalign, mini-screws and lasers. Dr. Annello and I attend a study club in the Bay Area with other Elite Providers of Invisalign. These classes help our patients receive the best treatment with results in the shortest amount of time. As a leading provider, I have been lecturing for invisalign, instructing other dentists & orthodontists how to treat different kinds of cases with invisalign.

Outside the Office

I live in Granite Bay with my wife, Debbie. We have five children. Kimber is a news broadcaster in Connecticut, Tyler is at dental school at the University of Oklahoma, Allie is a nurse, Ashley who sings and dances at BYU, and Brooke, one of the top 20 long distance runners in California. When I have free time I enjoy skiing, wake boarding, bike riding, and going to high school and college football games. My family and I also do humanitarian work in Africa and South America.
