About Doctor Holt

Dr. Holt was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended Brigham Young University on an academic scholarship. After three years in college, Dr. Holt was accepted into the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry. There he received the Quintessence Award for Academic Achievement and Excellence in Research and the International College of Dentists Outstanding Achievement Award. He participated in extracurricular research projects in biomaterials and cosmetic dentistry which led to scientific publications.

Following dental school, Dr. Holt obtained a Master of Science degree while completing a 25-month residency in orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma. He studied a wide variety of orthodontic techniques while gaining experience in early treatment, facial esthetics, TMJ problems and cases requiring jaw surgery.

Dr. Holt has served on a number of dental society committees. In 2002, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Holt is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the California Dental Association.

Dr. Holt and his wife, Debbie, have five children. He and his family enjoy snow-skiing, water-skiing, soccer and other recreational activities. They also actively support their church and schools. Dr. Holt is committed to excellence in his profession and in community involvement. He is dedicated to the comfort and quality care of his patients.

About Dr. Jina Annello

Dr. Annello was born and raised in New Jersey.  She graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1988.  After graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency Program in Hackensack, NJ.  This is where she met her future husband, Ken, an Anesthesia resident.  In 1989, she and Ken moved to California where she practiced General Dentistry for two years.  In 1993, Dr. Annello graduated from the University of the Pacific's Orthodontic Program.  She practiced orthodontics in Sacramento and Davis. After starting a family, she decided to take some time off to be a "stay-at-home-Mom".  After recently relocating to Granite Bay where she is Dr. Holt’s neighbor, she has joined Dr. Holt as an Associate.
